Product Design · Architectural Surfaces
Stuart Rodgers is a British product designer whose work focuses on architectural surfaces, including mosaic, terrazzo and ceramic collections for contemporary interiors.

His practice explores the relationship between pattern, material and making. Drawing on more than 25 years within the interior materials industry, Stuart combines design thinking with a practical understanding of manufacturing, specification and the built environment.
Pattern sits at the centre of his work, not simply as decoration, but as a way of exploring proportion, rhythm and form. Digital tools allow ideas to develop freely, creating space for experimentation before designs move into material and manufacture.
References often come from twentieth century architecture, decorative traditions and the geometry found within everyday surroundings. Rather than reproduce these influences, Stuart reinterprets them through contemporary materials and production techniques.
Curiosity drives the process. Material gives it direction. Craft and manufacturing knowledge turn the resulting ideas into something tangible.
